This is a quick and easy delicious classic pasta which I consider another comfort food. In Italy it’s not eaten as often as you would think and probably more loved here in England. You’ll find my recipe for the ragu sauce here.
Ingredients
300g Ragu sauce
180g Spaghetti pasta
Around 2 teaspoons of salt
2 handfuls of grated parmesan
Method
- Warm the ragu in a saucepan.
- Boil some water in a large saucepan with the salt and add the spaghetti and cook for about 7-8 minutes (or what it says on the packet).
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain, put back in the saucepan, add the ragu (reserve a few spoonfuls) and give a good stir.
- Tip out onto 2 plates. Spoon the reserved ragu on top. Top with the parmesan and serve.
